Eco-School

We have a dedicated group of children who each work towards keeping our school an 'Eco School'. This group of children start the year by completing an in-depth questionnaire with their classes all about different elements of making our school an ECO friendlier place. 

Using responses from the questionnaire, we then put together an action plan with 3 main challenges.  These may be to reduce the litter within school and the surrounding areas, reduce water waste, reduce the amount of paper used or create more effective recycling stations - there is always a whole host of ideas! We then work throughout the year to put things in place and make the changes. 

As well as being ECO-Warriors in school, we have also joined in with the 'Great British Litter Pick'.
